B.E.S.T. Clicnic

A fast-track fit-out for a traditional Chinese medical centre in Blackburn. The brief comprises the design and documentation of a compact clinic accommodating four consultation/treatment rooms, together with a kitchenette and a dedicated staff breakout area.

Drawing inspiration from traditional herbal medicine—its warmth, craftsmanship, and natural materiality—the interior is conceived as a calm, restorative environment. A layered timber palette is proposed, incorporating a variety of species such as oak, elm, and walnut to introduce tonal richness, tactile depth, and a sense of authenticity throughout the space.
