Colourful Yunnan Swanston

For the last 13 years, Colourful Yunnan Pty Ltd has brought authentic Chinese Yunnan cuisines to Melbourne. Designing for the group’s 8th restaurant, which is also the flagship store, our main goal is to present Yunnan’s identity with architectural language. Layers of textured and raw materials are carefully selected to represent Yunnan’s naturally organic form of caves and culturally unique terrace. In addition, we aim to add some cheerful and playful spirits to the restaurant, by introducing a colour combination with grassy and peachy tone.
