David’s Hotpot Latrobe

Location: Melbourne, Australia
Category: Hospitality
Year: 2017
Project Cost: $440K

The brief is to design and document a well-known hot pot restaurant brand from China. We are pleased to be appointed as the Architect for their first Melbourne store.

To achieve the best outcome, we were asked to work closely with the client and the China-based design team to translate the established brand concept into a local context, while ensuring full compliance with Australian standards and approvals. This project also marks s2dio-X’s first joint-venture collaboration, making it a particularly exciting milestone for our team.

Our scope of work included town planning and coordination for the new shopfront design, supporting the approval process and setting a strong foundation for a successful launch in Melbourne.
