s2dio-X has been engaged to provide full design and documentation services for a new soufflé pancake shop located along Elizabeth Street, Melbourne — one of the city’s busiest retail and pedestrian corridors.

The tenancy is compact, with only a portion of the shop offering a double-height ceiling. Both the client and our design team have aligned on a vision that contrasts the bustling external environment with an interior that feels clean, relaxed, calm, and charming. This deliberate contrast aims to create a distinctive and inviting atmosphere that draws the public in, offering a serene retreat within one of Melbourne’s most energetic urban settings.
