Rising Embers Glen

s2dio-X has been engaged to design the new Rising Embers at Kingsway, Glen Waverley. Rising Embers is a table-cooking BBQ venue, and the concept is driven by three key themes—Fire, Night Market, and Funky—translated into a bold, high-energy hospitality environment.

The design is conceived to feel lively, immersive, and social. Layered lighting, graphic moments, and animated material textures evoke the glow and intensity of fire, while “night market” cues inform the density, warmth, and visual rhythm of the space. The overall intent is to create a venue that embraces sound, movement, and shared experience—not a quiet dining room, but a place where groups can cook together, eat, talk, and laugh freely in an unapologetically vibrant setting.
